Hey everyone! Here are some upcoming shows:
Sept 4 (2pm) @ Maffeo Sutton Park in downtown Nanaimo: I'll be featured on clarinet with the Vancouver Island Repertory Jazz Orchestra playing swing classics of Ellington, Miller, Dorsey, etc. You can find more info here.
Sept 16/17 (8pm) @ Frankie's Jazz Club: I'll be playing the music of one of my favourite clarinetists, Artie Shaw. Joining me will be Miles Black (piano), Bill Coon (guitar), Atley King (vibes), Jodi Proznick (bass) and Joe Poole (drums). It's going to be swinging. It has to be... it's the music Artie Shaw after all! Find info and tickets here.
Sept 29 (7pm) @ Roedde House: I believe I'll be playing a duo concert in this very intimate room, but... it's not 100% confirmed. (Will try to remember to update.) Click here for more info on the museum (you may have to call to buy tickets, I'm not sure).
